AAU CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ON MONDAY |

For the past 19 years, NY Metropolitan AAU has held what is known as Championship Monday. As is our tradition, all the boys championship games for each division are played on Memorial Day. AAU medals are awarded after each game. All of the teams playing on Championship Monday have already earned bids to the AAU National Championships that will be played throughout the country this summer. Teams will be competing for the top seed coming out of New York. A special attraction this year will be that the games that are played on Court 1 will be telecast live to the internet. Games can be viewed on www.spacecoastsportstv.com throughout the day and evening. This is a great way for those not able to attend the game to catch all the action. Recordings of games can also be purchased following its completion.

FINAL WEEKEND OF AAU DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS |

UPDATE AS OF MAY 21 AT 9:15 PM: We have added five teams to the event which required that we redo all the schedules. Those schedules are now final. Please recheck your games as many have been changed. In the 11th Grade, there will be two pools of three teams. Every team will advance to the playoff round which begins on SATURDAY AT 2:50 PM. For schedules click here ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 10th and 11th Grade Division lll Boys District Championships will be held this weekend. These tournaments will conclude the 2013 NY Metropolitan District Championships.

MATT'S FUTURE HOOPERS MEET EVERY TUESDAY |

If you have a young child and do not know about out Matt's future Hoops program, you are missing out on something very special. This program has been in operation for 15 years and is a tremendous success. Here are some of the details: "Dedicated to the Memory of Matt Nies, Our Long Time Future Hoops Coach". Our popular program for ages 5 through 8 is for boys and girls who want to have fun while learning the fundamentals of basketballs. We use lower hoops and smaller balls for added fun. Classes start FEBRUARY 26 and will run for 6 Tuesdays, from 4:30pm-5:45pm. The cost is $150 for 6 sessions, or $28 for one session. Sign up early as this is a popular program.
